About Us

Wild West Rustic Furniture was born in the 80’s. Owner, Clay Folda had a vision, he saw a log bed and realized that was his future. Together with a couple of builders, they began creating rustic beds. The beds were a hit and the natural progression was matching, rustic bedroom furniture. So began the journey of Wild West Rustic Furniture.

Along with his wife, Carol Folda, Wild West has grown into a HUGE retail showroom with 2 shops on the property, 18,000 square feet in all. The showroom is JAM PACKED with rustic bedroom furniture, Dining, Living Room, Office, Upholstered and Leather furniture, along with a HUGE variety of rustic lighting, rugs, taxidermy, hides, mantles, Pendleton Blankets and other bedding, artwork, carvings and SO MUCH MORE.

All of the rustic furniture is AMERICAN MADE with a large part of it built right on site. Because the business has grown so large and the demand for the furniture is so high, we also have a little help from a couple of other shops. We also buy from local crafters who add so much to our accessory line.

We are fortunate to be able to represent some VERY reputable, fine manufacturers such as Marshfield Furniture, Omnia Leather Furniture, Old Hickory Furniture, Intermountain Furniture, Catnapper Reclining Furniture, Green Gables Furniture and Pendleton Blankets. We are always adding to our lineup and open to new ideas and products.

We have 7 full time employees, including our son Casey who helps in Sales and Cody who is the shop foreman and our number one builder.

While a good percentage of our customers buy right from the showroom floor, we also build “custom”. There’s always someone who has a special piece they need built. We work closely with the customer, LISTEN to their ideas, draw up what their vision is, decide with the customer on the wood to be used, hardware, etc. and give it to one of our builders. It’s so exciting to see the piece come to life and more exciting to see the customers reaction when they see it. We use a big variety of wood, barnwood, reclaimed wood, knotty alder, juniper, red fir, knotty hickory, lodgepole pine logs, blue pine, reclaimed redwood and anything else a customer may ask for.

While a customer may be looking for just one piece to accent their existing furnishings, an entire room full or furniture for their entire home, we can help. Our “in stock” inventory is HUGE and our ability to build quickly, but QUALITY, gives us a HUGE advantage. This also allows us to be the “rustic furniture designer” that our customers desire. Because we build the furniture, know what can be combined to create an appealing flow, we feel comfortable suggesting and steering customers who have a hard time putting it all together and we do it for FREE. NO CHARGE for advise and guidance.

We have delivery available, there is a charge, but the folks that we use are moving companies and are professionals.

WE LOVE WHAT WE DO and love to see customers who continually come back and bring their friends. Our repeat business is huge and the reason for that is the quality, the price and the personal attention we give each customer.
